Fictional demonstration
Rustic timber tables dressed with white flowers and greenery on the lawn, with gold chairs and glassware in soft late light

The whole estate, from the morning until the last song.

One wedding a day, so nothing is shared and nothing is rushed. This is how the day usually runs.

A ceremony in the pavilion, drinks on the lawn while the light is soft, and dinner in the hall under the festoons.

We hold one wedding a day. Your suppliers arrive from nine, the events team stays until the last guest has left, and our own kitchen cooks everything from the canapés to the late supper.

Pricing is shared after a viewing, once we know your date, numbers and menu.

From nine until midnight

Every wedding is different, but most follow this shape. The celebrant and the events team agree the timings with you at the final meeting, about a month before.

  1. i. From 9 am

    The estate opens for you

The events team unlocks the hall, the pavilion and the kitchen yard, and stays on the estate until the last guest has left. Your florist, stylist and band arrive down the farm track to the yard behind the hall, never across the lawn.

  2. ii. Early afternoon

    The ceremony

Most couples begin between one and three. Ceremonies are held in the Garden Pavilion for up to 120, on the lawn in front of the hall, or in the hall itself if the weather turns.

An outdoor ceremony aisle lined with timber chairs and rose arrangements, leading to a draped arbour
  3. iii. Afternoon

    Drinks on the lawn

Canapés and drinks on the lawn while the light is soft, and time for photographs in the walled garden and the meadow beyond it.

Tall grasses and wildflowers backlit by the setting sun across the meadow
  4. iv. Dusk

    Dinner in the hall

Long tables or rounds under the festoon lights. The kitchen serves dinner at the time you agree and holds it for up to half an hour if speeches or photographs run late.

Long tables and timber benches set for dinner in a stone hall under festoon lights and exposed roof beams
  5. v. Evening

Speeches, cake and the first dance

Speeches between courses or after dinner, then the cake, plated and served by the kitchen, and the first dance before the evening guests arrive.

Two coupes of sparkling wine against a dark background
  6. vi. Late evening

Late supper and the last song

The late supper comes out an hour or so before the music ends, so the dance floor stays full afterwards. The music ends at 11:30 pm and the last guests leave the grounds by midnight.

A festoon bulb glowing over the lawn at dusk, with more lights soft in the trees beyond

Bring any florist and stylist you like. We supply the tables, chairs, linen, glassware and candles, and the kitchen plates and serves your cake.
